Workshop: Healing Properties of Plants
Mona Jewei will share her ancestral knowledge of the healing properties of the herbs, spices, oils and fruits of this land. She will reveal the techniques and recipes that have come down through the generations. Mona comes from the from the village of Husan, near Bethlehem, and shares her delight of the produce of the land through stories, legends and humour.

Clowns, Acrobats, Dancers, Actors, Makeup artists conducting Workshops in theater, music, costumes, baking, herbs collections, crafts and more! All nature lovers are welcome, we are also expecting the first Palestinian group from el-Azariya to join the celebration. It will take place at the Bustanya Community Garden at Ir-Ganim, Jerusalem.

A musical Hafla celebrating both the Muslim and Jewish holidays with Palestinian kids and musicians from different nations at Zahrat el-Quds center in el-Azariya (a Palestinian village east of Jerusalem, also known as Bethany).
Monday Dec 27th - Wednesday Jan 5th: Middle East Kids Seed Camp, Sinai
A preparation for the camp on the shores of the Red Sea. Children from different nations throughout the world are going to meet new friends and colleagues from other nations, share their unique qualities, and receive encouragement and support for the creative expression of these qualities to the benefit of the Middle East and the entire world.

Tuesday 21st of Dec, 11 am: Winter Solstice Ceremony
This is the second year that we from a spiral by walking from the Mount of Olives up to the Temple Mount and then down to the Valley of the King, where the spiral of rocks from last year's ceremony still stands. Later in the evening we will connect with the worldwide solstice ceremony. See the ceremony of 2003.

Children’s dance and theater groups, performances by musicians & dancers from Palestine and Israel, light refreshments in Rose of Jerusalem, a center for the handicapped and a community center in the Palestinian village of el-Azariya, on the eastern slopes of Mount of Olives, near Maale Adumim. Come celebrate the end of Ramadan with local adults & kids we've been working with.

Come and enjoy a concert by Musicians for Peace, a taste of TransFair coffee and an open discussion about introducing fair trade to Jerusalem & Israel. Looking behind the scene, tracing the way of a coffee bean from the tree to the cup, shows the conditions the conventional trade impressed on workers in developing countries... and introducing a worldwide initiative that goes the alternative way: direct trade, long term contact, guaranteed minimum base price independent from stock markets, access to credits, social and environmental improvements of farms, small scale production, democratic management, transparency in administrative processes, values based on solidarity, political independence, sustainable development.
